Who You Know Makes All the Difference
Who You Know Makes All the Difference
You’ve probably heard the well-known phrase, “It’s not what you know, but who you know, that makes all the difference.” But I’m wondering if you’ve ever thought about that from a spiritual perspective? Because I’m convinced, it contains a mountain of biblical truth.
Now nothing is more important in this life than knowing God, the One who made you. Your relationship with Him makes all the difference, not only in the here and now, but for all eternity. And Jesus Himself makes that clear in John 17:3 when He says, “Now this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.” Do you see? The implication is obvious. If you want to have enteral life, it’s not what you know, but who you know that makes all the difference. And you need to know God; and therefore, you need to know His Son, Jesus Christ, whom He sent to be the Savior of the world. Indeed, knowing Jesus is eternal life. So the bible agrees, it’s not what you know, but who you know, that makes all the difference. The question is, do you know God? And do you know His Son Jesus Christ so that you might have eternal life?
