Are there weekly small groups that I can join?
At Proclamation, we value living life together as a community. That's why we emphasize our Life Groups. Our desire is for all adults to participate in one of these groups as we gather together to study God's Word and pray for one another. No two groups, of course, are the same; yet all of the groups share the same purpose - to grow in our love for one another and our love for the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Life Groups meet on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings, usually three times each month. Presently, we have Life Groups meeting in the following venues: (1) Windsor campus, (2) Manchester campus, (3) in group members' homes, and (4) online via Zoom. Each meeting is unique, as we share our lives with one another, hold one another accountable, and pray for one another. We also engage each week in discussions about the Bible and are challenged to examine our lives in light of what it says. The interactions will follow the preaching series, allowing for greater depth in knowing and growing in God's Word.
Our groups are demographically diverse. You'll find young and old, singles and couples, more mature Christians and those opening their Bibles for the first time; all gathered around a common desire to discover what God's word says and why it matters. As a result of meeting regularly, Life Groups provide an opportunity to know each other well enough to love, help, and serve one another in very practical ways. This includes providing meals for new moms to helping out with home projects and everything in between. In summary, it's a great way to experience and participate in real gospel community.
