Sermon Theme – Love is sacrificially giving of oneself to act in the interest of another. Sandwiched between his discussion on spiritual gifts, Paul urges us to pursue the "more excellent way" of love in 1 Corinthians 13. It is only as we come to know and receive God's love poured out for us in Christ Jesus that we experience true love and are empowered to rightly love and serve others.
