Sermon Theme: As the people of God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus and His once-for-all sacrifice, we are called and commanded to walk by faith in Christ and live gloriously different than the world around us. Therefore, we must be committed to obeying the Law and worshipping the Lord.

I. GOD’S PEOPLE OBEY THE LAW
    A. People of the Covenant – (Nehemiah 10:1-27)
    B. Promise of the Covenant – (Nehemiah 10:28-29)
    C. Particulars of the Covenant – (Nehemiah 10:30-39)
        1. Promise to NOT marry idolaters (v.30)
        2. Promise to NOT buy on the Sabbath (v.31)
        3. Promise to NOT neglect the temple (vv.32-39)

II. GOD’S PEOPLE WORSHIP THE LORD
    A. Sacrificing for Others – (Nehemiah 11:1-2:26)
    B. Dedicating the Wall – (Nehemiah 12:27-43)
        1. Preparation for Worship (vv.27-30)
        2. Procession of Worship (vv.31-43)
        3. Provision for Worship (vv.44-47)

III. GOD’S PEOPLE REJOICE IN CHRIST
    A. Greater Once-for-all-Sacrifice – (Hebrews 10:11)
    B. Greater Power Over Sin – (Romans 6:13-14)
    C. Greater Eternal Worship – (Revelation 5:12)
