Sermon Theme: Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ are able to stand firm in the faith by putting the good news of the gospel first in every area of their lives, which requires them to follow Christ’s example of humbly sacrificing and serving others, knowing that God will exalt them at the proper time!

I. CALL TO UNITY (Philippians 1:27-2:2)
    A. Stand Firm in the Gospel (Philippians 1:27)

    C. Suffer for Christ's Sake (Philippians 1:29-30)

II. CALL TO HUMILITY
    A. Count Others More Important (Philippians 2:3-5)
    B. Clarity on Doctrine (Philippians 2:6-7) 
    C. Christ Is Our Example (Philippians 2:6-11)
        1. Humbled Himself in Humanity (Philippians 2:6-7) 
        2. Humbled Himself in Death (Philippians 2:8)
        3. Highly Exalted by God (Philippians 2:9)
        4. Honored by Everyone (Philippians 2:10-11)

III. CALL TO WORK
    A. Humble Yourself (Philippians 2:12-13)
        1. Work at Being Self-Forgetful
        2. Work at Being Others-Focused
    B. Highly Exalted by God (Application)
