Five Marks of a Healthy Church
Christ Proclamation Church
Sunday, 10/16/2022
Acts 11:19–15:41
Sermon Theme: Perhaps no church was more impressive in the New Testament than the church at Antioch (Syria) from which we can derive at least five marks by which to measure the health of any local church.
I. FIRST MARK: True Conversion - (Acts 11:19–21; 2 Cor. 6:14–7:1)
II. SECOND MARK: Apostolic Teaching - (Acts 11:22–26; Eph. 4:11–16)
III. THIRD MARK: Brotherly Love - (Acts 11:27–30, 12:25; 1 Jn. 3:10–18)
IV. FOURTH MARK: Global Outreach - (Acts 12:24–14:28; Mt. 28:18–20)
V. FIFTH MARK: Gospel Protection - (Acts 15:1–5; Titus 1:6–16)
So how is Proclamation as a church doing in these five areas?
How are you, dear Proclamation member and attendee, doing individually with these five marks?
