Hebrews 2:5-2:18

Sermon Theme: Jesus perfectly fulfills God's plan to redeem the world and clarify the way of salvation, which requires Him to take on humanity so that He might deliver God's people from death and create an unbreakable and eternal family bond. Therefore, His help is all we need to bring us home to glory.

I. Founder of Salvation - (Hebrews 2:5-10)

    A. World Subjected to Humility - (Hebrews 2:5-9)

    B. Founder Made Human - (Hebrews 2:10; Psalm 8)

        1. It was fitting

        2. Perfect through suffering

        3. Brings others with Him

II. Sharers in Salvation - (Hebrews 2:11-15)

    A. Gathering a People - (Hebrews 2:11-13; Psalm 22; Isaiah 8)

    B. Making Them Children - (Hebrews 2:14-15)

        1. Sharing their humanity

        2. Defeating their enemy

        3. Delivering them from bondage

III. Bond Between Them - (Hebrews 2:16-18)

    A. Help From God - (Hebrews 2:16)

    B. Solidarity with Humanity - (Hebrews 2:17-18)

        1. Merciful and faithful

        2. Suffered for His people

        3. Sufficient for our needs
