Sermon Theme: God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. The Lord Jesus Christ humbled Himself under the mighty hand of God to secure our salvation. Therefore, we must rejoice in His grace, reject our foolish pride, and humbly trust His good and perfect plan!

I. GRACE FOR THE HUMBLE – (Esther 5:1-8)
   A. Life Not Death – (vv.1-4)
      1. Risk is Certain
      2. Posture is Humble
      3. Response is Favorable
   B. Queen Not Criminal – (vv.5-8)
      1. The Humble Receive in Abundance

      3. The Humble Trust in God

II. PRIDE IN THE WICKED – (Esther 5:9-14)
   A. The Proud are Easily Angered – (v.9)
   B. The Proud are Self-Exalting – (vv.10-12)

      3. My Promotions
      4. My Position
   C. The Proud are Never Satisfied – (vv.13-14)

III. HUMBLE YOURSELF BEFORE GOD
   A. Receive God’s Grace
