The ladies of Proclamation will be traveling to beautiful Portland, Maine to join Christ Fellowship Church for a two-night and three-day retreat with extremely comfortable accommodations at the #1 ranked local hotel in the area (includes breakfast, an indoor outdoor heated pool, an 18 foot Jacuzzi, and a modern workout facility) for a very reasonable price.  The goal of the breakaway is to provide a time away, relax from the daily duties of life, build friendships, soak in God's Word, and grow in our faith. CONFERENCE SPEAKER - Linda Thiel

Linda Thiel is a dynamic figure, often seen scaling walls and crushing ice. She has been known to remodel train stations on her lunch breaks, making them more efficient in the area of heat retention.  Using only a hoe and a large glass of water, she once single-handedly defended a small village in the Amazon Basin from a horde of ferocious army ants. Occasionally, she treads water for three days in a row.

She plays bluegrass penny whistle, she can pilot bicycles up severe inclines with unflagging speed, and cook Thirty-Minute Brownies in twenty minutes. She is an expert in stucco, a veteran in love, and an outlaw in Peru.

If this were all true, she would be the subject of numerous documentaries.  Alas, it is not. Rather, she is an ordinary women, married to Pastor Steve Thiel.  She has four active teen and preteen children.  She loves her local church with fierce loyalty. She longs to see more and more "children" be born again.  She loves a glass of iced coffee and a chat with friends.

But she has not yet spoken at at a Proclamation Women's Retreat.  Do not miss this!

ACCOMODATIONS

Accomodations will be at the number one rated hotel in the area, the Merry Manor Inn which is only a 7 minute walk from Christ Fellowship Church.

The hotel has an 18ft Whirlpool Tub with a therapeutic waterfall as well as an outdoor a heated outdoor pool.

All room have two queen sized beds.
