Ephesians 3:7-13

Sermon Theme: As believers, we must understand that the church is absolutely central to God’s eternal purpose that He has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord. Therefore, it must not be pushed to the periphery but be central to our lives. In other words, we should be ready to pray, to work, and to suffer for her glory!

I. IS A TREMENDOUS PRIVILEGE (Ephesians 3:7-9)
    A. The Gift to God's Man (Ephesians 3:7-8a)
        1. Given to the least of all the saints
        2. Given by the working of God's power
    B. The Gift of God's Grace (Ephesians 3:8b-9)
        1. To preach the gospel to the Gentiles
        2. To reveal the mystery to everyone

II. HAS AN INCREDIBLE RESULT (Ephesians 3:10-12)
    A. Who are the People of the Church (Ephesians 3:10a)
    B. What is the Purpose of the Church (Ephesians 3:10b-11)
        1. God's manifold wisdom
        2. God's eternal plan
    C. Who is at the Heart of the Church (Ephesians 3:12)

III. HAS AN ENORMOUS COST (Ephesians 3:13)
    A. For the Apostle Paul (Ephesians 3:13)
    B. For the Follower of Christ (Application)
