Sermon Theme: Sin ignited a life and death struggle between the seed of the woman and seed of the serpent, but God promises salvation in King Jesus, whose death defeats sin, death, and the devil so that we might be children of God who walk in righteousness, which is evident and obvious to everyone!

II. The Savior King - (1 Samuel 23:1-29)

    A. The Murderous King - (22:18-23:7-8,14)

        1. Kills the People of God - (22:19)

        2. Assumes the Will of God - (23:7-8,14)

    B. The Savior King - (23:1-6; 9-13; 15-29)

        1. Saves the People of God - (23:1-5)

        2. Seeks the Will of God - (23:6; 9-13)

        3. Protected by the Power of God - (23:15-29)

III. King Jesus Exiled and Sustained - (Application)

    A. The Humble Faithful King

    B. The Sorrowful Unrepentant King
