Sermon Theme: God the Father has given Jesus Christ the Son a name that is above every name and a kingdom that has no end. All things have been created by the Son-including angles-for the worship of the Son. Therefore, we must listen to the Son, and not neglect the great salvation that is ours in Him!

I. Greater Name of Son

    B. Superior Worship of the Son - (Hebrews 1:6)

    C. Superior Throne of the Son - (Hebrews 1:7-12)

        1. Jesus is Ruler, NOT servant - (Psalm 104:4; 45:6-7)

        2. Jesus is Creator and Sustainer - (Psalm 102:25)

        3. Jesus is Eternal and Forever - (Psalm 102:26)

        4. Jesus is Immutable and Unchanging - (Psalm 102:27)

    D. Superior Reign of the Son - (Hebrews 1:13-14) 

        1. Jesus Reigns - (Psalm 100:1, 5-7)

        2. Angels Serve - (Hebrews 1:14)

II. Greater Message of Salvation 

    A. Response Required - (Hebrews 2:1)

        1. We Must Pay Much Closer Attention!

        2. We Must Not Neglect So Great a Salvation!
